Conservative aggression means: choose the safe target line, then swing with commitment.

Do This Now

• Pick the safest line that matches your normal shot shape.
• Choose club that keeps penalties out of play.
• Then swing like you mean it. No steering.

Quick Drill

• Drill: on the tee, pick a conservative line. Say ‘commit’ out loud. Swing. That’s how you create conservative aggression.

Picking the best target for your ball flight tendencies is always a conservative decision. Allowing you to play the shot aggressively. Instead of playing defensively due to an overly aggressive decision to hit a shot you may not be capable of pulling off.
